Felt Monster

I found a piece of felt I made last year. My first ever try at felting and its shows. It is really thick and not that felted.
I thought I'd try to make a little monster out of it. It is not showing up very well in the photo, but the eyes and mouth are embroidered on and there are a few embroidered squiggles. The girls seem to love him despite his myriad of imperfections.

Your monster is cute. I love all your felting. It is something I would love to get into, but haven't been brave enough for yet.

one of the best things about crafting with/near/for children. they are usually thrilled with anything, and don't look for mistakes!

cute little guy!

Your felting looks as though it works quite well from the look of that cute monster you made. Can you use that felt to make pincushions too. I love the spotty dotty felt too, very cute. I am sure the girls will love making it too.
