Vogue

I had a bit of a surprise last night when I had an email telling me one of my toys - one of my dolls with buns - was in the November edition Vogue. This is one magazine I never thought I would be in! Coincidentally I am just cutting some more of these for Minifashionista.
Edited to add: They did have permission - they requested it from Minifashionista a few months ago, but I had no idea when or even if they would use it - so it was a surprise to see it.

It has definitely been spring weather this week and after seeing this great twirly skirt I was inspired to make some for the girls.

Apparently this is what you do when you are told it is too cold still for swimming, swim in sand.

Congratulations - what a wonderful surprise! I love all the clothes making you've been doing for the girls - especially the pants from the last post - so cute! It inspires me so much to just put everything aside and make clothes for my girls.

And it's so good to read about your adventures in Melbourne. Would love to meet up with you if you are ever down here again in the future :-)

Congratulations! Do they not have to ask permission first? What a nice surprise. And those skirts are adorable. Lucky little ladies!

Can't quite imagine those two gorgeous little girls in the sandpit in those little skirts.
No, they will look lovely.
Love how you mix and match your fabrics.

Congratulations! Don’t they have to ask your permission to use a photo?

Congratulations! How good is that! But yes, don't they have to ask first? Either way, that's excellent exposure. And I love the pair of skirts you sewed up....very cute.

I was in My Poppet this week and Cinti and I were talking about how wonderful your goodies were. Can I say I knew you before you were in Vogue? Well done and so very well deserved.

Thanks for your comment on the newspaper article and I agree, the 'made it myself' articles are great. Something to look forward to each week.

Congratz on your article too, something bigger than the local newspaper, well done!

Adorable, dorable grrls! Reminds of when mine were small, now 28 and 30, one a mom to my first granddaughter whom I will travel to NC to see for only the the second time since she was born! She is 3 months. The years fly by so quickly now!
