Haircuts

The girls and I had our hair cut last week. Not as traumatic as I thought. They even sat in the high chair and took turns having their hair cut at the same time I had mine done.
The girls asked me to make them a playpus each last week so yesterday we finished them off, unfortunately Grace said she felt too grumpy to smile this morning.

The Platypus is one of my fave Aussie animals - love the ones you have made! Your girls are lucky to have a natural wave in their hair - they look sweet with their new do's!

That's something my oldest would say. She told us it was too hot to go to the movies on Sunday. I love their stuffies! I might like a platypus for myself actually :)

We are growing up.... How nice to have a calm day at the hairdressers.
I'm glad Grace can admit she is having a bad morning. Hope she got over it quickly.
I didn't know if they had one each of ALL the toys you make?
How special for them.

Grace's words were like an echo from my 3 year old daughter. "I'm just a bit grumpy today". I guess adults are not unique in having off days. Their new platypii (?) are lovely.

Grumpy is good! Not for too long just long enough to get over being grumpy. Way better than fine as in hubby to wife "what's wrong" wife to hubby "nothing I'm fine". Much less confusing to be straight talking like Grace.

Such lucky girls to have a new haircut AND a new platypus each! It's really cute that your grumpy girl in this photo is named "Grace". I love looking at the meaning of names and it seems that so much of the time the thing that a person needs affirmed in the most is often the meaning of their name. Pretty neat. They are both such cuties!

It seems that none of us know the plural of platypus! Well done on your sentences, I didn't even notice you were avoiding the plural until you said.

It's hard to be 'happy' or 'smile' on demand. I'm with Grace. Sometimes you just can't smile - even for the camera!

Wow, you did well with the haircuts. I haven't taken Thomas in for a proper cut yet, but will have to bite the bullet soon. I love your slug toy and gocco cards from your recent post, too gorgeous!
